Position Overview

Recovery Wellbeing Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team on a full-time basis. This position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely from the comfort of your own home, providing essential mental health services to diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans. Regularly monitor and document patient progress using EMR software.
  • Facilitate effective communication among all parties involved in patient care, including supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and external healthcare providers.
  • Create and share tentative plans with management that outline schedules for appointments, home visits, and collaborative meetings.
  • Organize and conduct home visits to perform in-depth observations, gather insights through chart reviews, and engage in staff interviews to assess patient requirements comprehensively.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of program strategies, adhering to legal and ethical standards while providing high-quality care.
  • Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to discuss patient care strategies and share insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly progress reports to keep stakeholders informed of patient advancements and program success.
  • Lead training sessions for team members to ensure proficiency in program execution and proper documentation of patient information.
  • Maintain a thorough system of records management to ensure timely access to patient data.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and the mental health community, promoting initiatives that foster recovery and personal development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Please note that as a therapist at Recovery Wellbeing Counseling Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, including both adults and youth. Our clientele presents various needs, from trauma and substance misuse to family and couples therapy, allowing for diverse and enriching counseling experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical environment is required, providing the candidate with a robust foundation in therapeutic practices.
  • Specialization in trauma therapy, family counseling, couples therapy, or substance abuse treatment is highly preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices and patient confidentiality.
