Job description

3G Structural Welder | Burlington, NC

$28/hr + $150/day Per Diem
Long-Term Project | 2nd Shift

Seeking experienced 3G Structural Welders for a structural steel fabrication shop building components for data center projects.

Weld Test:

  • 3G AWS D1.1 Dual Shield FCAW
  • 1" carbon steel plate, 1/16" wire
  • Prep, tack, and weld test coupon
  • In-house bend test required
  • Pass the test and start immediately after orientation

Schedule:

  • 2nd Shift: Mon-Thu 4:30 PM-1:00 AM (possible extension to 3:00 AM)
  • Fri 2:30 PM-11:00 PM
  • Saturday OT available
  • Training conducted on 1st Shift

Per Diem:

  • $150/day (4.5+ hrs worked)
  • $75/day (under 4.5 hrs)

Bring:

  • Welding hood
  • Steel-toe boots
  • Welding sleeves

Bonus: Pass the weld test and receive 2 hours of paid test time + 1 day per diem.
