TIG Welder Responsibilities

As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals according to specifications
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
  • Preparing materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces
  • Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with company standards
  • Measuring and verifying finished components using precision measuring tools
  • Operating welding equipment and related fabrication tools safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Following all company safety procedures and quality requirements
  • Assisting with additional fabrication and production tasks as needed
