Our client, a leading manufacturer of steel building structures, is expanding rapidly and has several temp-to-hire Welder openings on both their 1st and 2nd shift teams. The worksite is located in the Wolcott area, just a short 20-minute drive from Rensselaer.

Welder Job Duties:
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding to assemble steel building structures
  • Utilize hand tools, grinders, torch welding guns, and needle guns to complete tasks efficiently and safely
  • Ensure high-quality welds and precision, adhering to all safety standards and project specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following company procedures
Pay: $19.10 - $20.10 per hour

Available Schedules:
  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 4:30 PM – 2:00 AM
  • Built-in overtime!
Welder Job Requirements:
  • At least one year of MIG and TIG welding experience
  • Proficiency with operating torch welding guns and needle gun drills
  • Ability to pass a welding assessment to demonstrate your skills
  • Ability to stand, bend, and twist for the duration of your shift
  • Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations
