As Boulder County's only independently owned newspaper, Boulder Weekly is dedicated to illuminating truth, advancing justice and protecting the First Amendment through ethical, no-holds-barred journalism and thought-provoking opinion writing. Free every Thursday since 1993, the Weekly also offers the county's most comprehensive arts and entertainment coverage.
Job Description
I am looking for several interns to work events, and help pass out marketing materials for Boulder Weekly, while learning the ins and outs of marketing; from creating spec ads to meeting our loyal readers. The intern would be available 10-15 hours a week. This is not a paid internship, and some weekend work is required. The interns that are selected will be part of the Boulder Weekly Street Team, and will have reliable transportation, and a strong work ethic. Interns must be at least 18 years of age. All interns must be eager to meet new people, and help promote Boulder Weekly in a positive light. If you believe this internship is for you, then contact me!

Must have....
Knowledge of social media marketing
Reliable transportation
At least 18 years old
Interested in learning about Marketing and Sales
Available 5-10 hours a week
Great people skills
Strong work ethic
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Additional Information
The interns chosen are responsible for going to events and setting up booths for Boulder Weekly at a 2 weeks notice. Interns are required to answer any questions regarding the current weeks edition to anyone that engages the Boulder Weekly booth. Interns are also responsible grass roots marketing techniques.
