Job description

General Summary

Assist the Project Manager in administering the Custodial program by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout all areas of the job site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain employee work schedule
  • Ensure employee work schedule is covered with adequate staffing on a daily basis through Supervisors.
  • Ensure Quality Control (QC) inspections are performed daily on all employees by the Supervisors
  • Review with QC to analyze trends and opportunities for improvement; report findings to Project Manager
  • Analyze government Quality Assurance (QA) inspections, assuring proper follow-up and Corrective/Preventive Actions
  • Ensure that all employees receive adequate orientation training and track training documentation in employee’s file
  • Observe Supervisors daily by making rounds in their areas
  • Assist Supervisors in resolving any potential issues with employees and hospital staff
  • Perform job evaluations on Supervisors and submit to Director as required
  • Perform public relation rounds on units and establish positive relationships with key personnel
  • Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) years of experience in custodial supervisory experience.
  • Must meet or exceed comparable industry certification (IEHA, etc.) training. All certifications shall be maintained active and current throughout the term of the contract
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Working Conditions

  • Be able to walk extended period of time, bend, kneel, push. Pull, and stretch as required.
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs.
