Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist client with activities of daily living that allow individuals the opportunity to stay in their home as long as possible, such as bathing, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene
  • Assist with ambulation and transfer of clients with or without adaptive equipment
  • Remind clients to take medications
  • Assist with housekeeping, transportation and errands
  • Plan and prepare meals, assist with feeding and assist with kitchen clean up
  • Provide socialization and companionship
  • All other duties outlined in client care plan

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English
  • This position involves driving to clients' homes/apartments; this is a community based role. Employees are compensated for drive time between client locations. A valid drivers license and car insurance is REQUIRED.
