WANTED: Entertaining and opinionated sports media personality to host Lakers Report (57,000 subscribers - https://www.youtube.com/@LakersTV) and cover the NBA on a full-time basis from Chat Sports HQ in Dallas, TX.

Chat Sports has rapidly grown into one of the leading sports media brands on YouTube. What started with just 3 shows in 2019 has exploded into 51 shows and 50 million+ monthly viewers. Our mission is simple: inform and entertain by delivering unfiltered, high-energy content for the most passionate fans in sports. If you apply, please familiarize yourself with our shows on YouTube that can be found here.

Weโ€™re gearing up for another massive NBA season and are looking to hire an On-Air Host for one of our premier team-focused shows: Lakers Report. Youโ€™ll be the face of the channel on YouTube, breaking down every game, trade rumor, free agency move, and all the drama that comes with one of the biggest brands in sports. Expect to deliver multiple videos per day that keep Lakers fans engaged, reacting, and coming back for more and be live on YouTube during most Lakers games/post-game.ย

Youโ€™ll be working out of our brand-new 11,000 sq ft downtown Dallas HQ, inside one of our 16 production studios, creating content that reaches millions. We thrive on live energy, big personalities, and turning every Lakers storyline into must-watch content.

** Location: This is in-office only at our Dallas, TX HQ. Weekend and evening hours are non-negotiable during the NBA season. We'll fly in out-of-towners for auditions, but no relocation package is offered. **

- Be the face and voice of Lakers Report, bringing energy, strong opinions, and a must-watch presence on camera
- Collaborate with your producer to create engaging scripts, segments, and graphics that keep fans hooked
- Film multiple videos daily (live shows, breaking news, reactions, debates, shorts) covering everything Lakers, from blockbuster trades to postgame breakdowns

Youโ€™re the perfect fit if:
- You live and breathe the NBA - especially the Los Angeles Lakers (rosters, history, rumors, cap space, trade assets, etc.)
- You have on-camera experience (YouTube, podcasts, TV, or radio) and can confidently host without relying on a teleprompter
- You know how to connect with fans on social media and build a community around your voice
- Purple and gold runs through your veins, or you can authentically tap into the Lakers fan mindset while staying honest and opinionated
- You thrive in a fast-paced, high-output environment and are ready to work nights/weekends during the NBA season
- Youโ€™re organized, dependable, and bring consistent energy every single day

What you get:
- A chance to be at the forefront of sports media on YouTube and grow a massive audienceย
- Competitive salary + full benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO)
- Daily team lunches on us - because nobody creates top sports content on an empty stomach
- A high-energy, collaborative environment filled with big personalities and big ideas

How to Apply:
Submit your resume and a strong cover letter explaining why youโ€™re the right fit, along with:
- Links to your best on-camera or podcast work
- Links to your social media profiles

Apply directly through this posting. Be prepared for multiple audition rounds where youโ€™ll showcase your ability to host, produce ideas, and deliver content that informs and entertains Lakers fans
