Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, or corporate advisory role.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience working with the YouTube ecosystem, creator economy (viewers, creators, advertisers), or music/media landscape.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience working cross-functionally with business and technical teams.
  • Experience communicating and collaborating, including presenting to executive audiences.
  • Understanding of YouTube Live ecosystem (viewers, creators, advertisers, developers) and the live streaming industry.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities and subject matters.

About the job
The YouTube Business Product Activation Team is responsible for bringing product to market and market to product. The team works closely with both business and product leaders to scale adoption of YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem.
The core capabilities of the team include: designing go-to-market strategies, identifying and prioritizing product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, developing content strategy, collecting and synthesizing user feedback, and tracking performance.
Our Emerging Experiences and Community (EMCO) team covers a range of products and features across Shorts, Gaming, Community, Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), Creation, and Live. We ensure YouTube's long-term success, collaborate with Product teams to advocate for and prioritize the needs of YouTube creators and partners on behalf of the YouTube Business organization, and help drive adoption of products and priorities across segments and verticals. You will interact with key stakeholders, senior executives, and cross-functional leaders as you drive alignment on product strategy and execution and launch products that creators and viewers love. In this role, you will focus on YouTube Live. We're working to make YouTube the best place to create, discover, and interact with live streams and hope you'll join us on that mission! Responsibilities
  • Define and shape go-to-market (GTM) plans, execute communications documents, lead experiments and trusted tester programs, and manage quarterly forecasting.
  • Serve as a product expert and consultant for the business and partnerships teams to influence product roadmaps while driving hypothesis-driven business strategy for YouTube Live's products across users, partners, and creators.
  • Drive operational excellence, including setting and tracking OKRs, driving annual business planning, and owning program management for key programs while working seamlessly with global and regional Business GTM to drive business outcomes and product adoption goals.
  • Contribute to analysis and intelligence for projects and develop executive-level business cases to unlock spend, define business strategy, or support shifts.
  • Gather market intelligence and conduct analyses or modeling to develop insights through product or program data analysis using Structured Query Language (SQL) and spreadsheets, dashboarding, and deck building.
