Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and digital publishing platforms is typically required. Excellent time management, creativity, and the ability to work independently are standout soft skills for this position. Weekend writing roles often require adapting to tight deadlines and rapid content turnaround, as news and trending topics can emerge unexpectedly.
