Job description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a float Telemetry position requiring stepdown experience and the ability to support multiple units including ER hold, psych, and inpatient rehab.
Job Details
• Telemetry unit within a hospital setting,
• Float position supporting ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psych, and inpatient rehab units,
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00),
• Stepdown experience is required; critical care experience is preferred,
Job Requirements
• Active AR or Compact State RN license in good standing required,
• Current BLS certification required,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• Stepdown experience required; critical care experience preferred,
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred,
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred,
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration,
Additional Information
• Provide direct patient care and leadership within the nursing team using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care,
• Collaborates with the full healthcare team with a focus on evidence-based care within a healing culture,
• Care is delivered through a Shared Governance model,
• Facility conducts its own on-site drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana - a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid anything that could produce a positive result, including CBD products, prior to and upon arrival,
