What does a weekend travel nurse do?

A weekend travel nurse works part-time in different locations. In this role, you cover Saturday and Sunday shifts at medical facilities that are open on the weekends, such as hospitals and clinics. You perform various nursing duties based on the needs of the place where you work, including taking patient vital signs, documenting patient medical history, preparing exam rooms, and assisting physicians when necessary.
