Miller - Hopkinsville, KY
Compensation:
  • PTO available after 7 days.
  • Overtime premiums paid over 40 hours worked in a week.
  • Double time pay for time worked on Sundays.
  • Bonus based on financial performance of the company.
Responsibilities: Main responsibilities include the blending, cleaning and tempering of the wheat. The employee must monitor the proper operation of the mill. Furthermore, this individual is expected to maintain a high flour yield as well as quality on all grades or blends of flours as specifications dictate.
Qualifications:
  • Individual must excel in respect, trust and responsibility, striving for continuous improvement, commitment to excellence.
  • High school diploma or GED required, with the ability to read, write and perform mathematics. Post-secondary technical schooling is preferred.
  • Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities required.
  • Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.
  • Ability to ride a man lift and frequently utilize stairs in a ten (10) story plant in Hopkinsville.
  • Must be able to maneuver uneven terrain.
  • Must be able to work multiple, rotating shifts and available for call ins.
  • Available to travel periodically.
Hours: 12 hour rotating shifts with weekends and overtime as needed
