Overview
Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech) โ€“ Mammo Tech, Saint Helena, California. This travel assignment starts 06/08/2026 and runs for 13 weeks in a short-term acute care setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,069 to $2,137 with no guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12 Days. Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This is a travel, temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Perform digital and 3D mammography procedures (screening and diagnostic) with attention to image quality and patient safety
- Position patients correctly, ensure comfort, and minimize repeat exposures
- Operate mammography equipment, monitor system performance, and participate in required quality control
- Review images, make preliminary adjustments as needed, and coordinate with radiologist for interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation; ensure proper patient identification and consent
- Adhere to radiation safety standards (ALARA) and infection control protocols; support efficient patient flow
- Collaborate with the imaging team to deliver timely, high-quality exams; no on-call or weekend coverage
Requirements
- Active California RHB License in X-ray and Mammography (CRT[M]); ARRT Radiography (RT) and Mammography Technologist certifications required in CA
- Certificate of Completion of Initial Training for Mammo (40 hours) and Certificate of New Modality training for Digital/3D
- Completion of an initial 25 supervised mammograms; CEUS for the last 3 years
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months
- AHA- or ARC-BLS certification required
- Fluoroscopy license preferred; Venipuncture certification preferred
