Security Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI CI Poly Position Description:
Our client is hiring a Tableau Developer to work in support of an Intelligence Community program. This position requires experience providing development support to senior government leadership working on-site in a mixed government and contractor environment. The Tableau Developer will join a cross-functional team supporting data warehousing, business intelligence and reporting. Experience or knowledge using Tableau and PL/SQL is a must. Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following programming languages and technologies is a plus: PHP, IBM DataStage ETL, SharePoint, or Business Objects. Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support, analysis, research, and advice into exceptionally complex problems and processes relating to financial and acquisition systems including: Timely on-site customer support for users
Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
Recommend and execute improvements in the programs
End user support and interface management for financial systems
Query development and troubleshooting
Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
Work closely with requirements analysts and testers in delivering customer-centric solutions
Support product requirements and design walk-throughs, test readiness reviews, production readiness reviews and product lifecycle inspections
Ensure new applications and software modifications meet requirements and design standards
Follow software lifecycle process and update ticketing systems at appropriate milestones Education and qualifications:
U.S. citizenship
Current TS/SCI security clearance
Current CI polygraph or ability to obtain CI polygraph
8 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role including 2 years experience with Tableau
Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies
BI tools experience (preferably Business Objects)
Experience developing reports and dashboards using BI tools (preferably Tableau)
Significant PL/SQL experience
Ability to troubleshoot interfaces
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to lead testing initiatives for releases as needed
Ability to document processes as needed
Preferred experience: Experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL
Knowledge of Federal acquisition or financial processes or data a plus
