Job description
Position: Business Intelligence Developer
Location: Huntsville
Clearance: Active Clearance Required
** $10,000 signing bonus
Responsibilities:
- Provide business intelligence development support using business intelligence and data analysis experience and platforms such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, and Tableau
- Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics from defined data sources such as APIs, SQL, network drives, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and TEAMS
- Create data connections and publish user-created visualizations/dashboards to the Production environment
- Create and management of QVD files, data transformations using ETL and managing complex data models
- Provide QLIK user and account administrator support
- Establish and maintain account security rules and access control rights to visualizations/dashboards, data connections, data files, and system objects for users and developers
- Develop solutions using DoD365 Power Platform tools including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI
- Provide technical guidance to end users and developers regarding how to best utilize and develop data visualizations based on best practices, to meetcustomerstrategies and goals
- Disseminateupdates and broadcasts to thesupported directorate regarding relevant topics such as, but not limited to training dates, newly available training materials, system outages and performance issues, and new software capabilities
- Ensure compliance with governance policies, information architecture and other organizational policies
- All other dutiesas assigned
Requirements:
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- 4 + years of experience developing solutions based onbusiness intelligence platforms such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau and/or similar tools
- Experience leveraging Microsoft technologies, such as ASP.NET, C#, SharePoint, or SQL Servers to improve business processes and practices (e.g. views, stored procedures, normalization, etc.)
- Prefer experience with DAX, Excel, JSON, jQuery, AJAX, XSLT, JSON
- Prefer experience with current AI tools and technologies; Palantir Foundry and Python development knowledge a plus
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully collaborate with team members
- BS in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Science preferred
