Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Visualization Specialist (Level 3) with 5โ€“10 years of professional experience to design, develop, and deliver impactful dashboards and visual analytics solutions. This position will play a key role in helping stakeholders across the utility sector make informed, data-driven decisions by transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.


Key Responsibilities
  • Dashboard & Report Development

    • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations that highlight operational, financial, and engineering insights.

    • Curate datasets using SQL and integrate multiple data sources to support reporting needs.

    • Optimize performance and usability of dashboards for a variety of business users.

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Partner with engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts to understand requirements and deliver accurate, visually compelling dashboards.

    • Provide expertise in visual storytelling, ensuring technical content is accessible and informative to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Data Governance & Quality

    • Validate and maintain accuracy of data visualizations.

    • Ensure visualizations comply with established standards for consistency, clarity, and reliability.

  • Advanced Analytics Support

    • Support adoption of advanced visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Azure Databricks) for complex reporting requirements.

    • Explore opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in reporting processes.


Qualifications
  • Education:

    • BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • Experience:

    • 5โ€“10 years of relevant data visualization and dashboard development experience.

    • Strong expertise with Power BI required.

    • Hands-on experience with SQL for data curation.

    • Familiarity with Azure Databricks and Tableau is preferred.

    • Prior experience supporting analytics in utilities, engineering, or energy-related fields is a plus.

  • Technical Skills:
