Job Title: Developer (Senior)

Position Type: Full-Time


Position Overview

Cintel is seeking an experienced Developer with strong expertise in Power BI, data analysis, and business intelligence solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, ETL processes, and BI dashboards to deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data warehousing and reporting concepts, along with proven experience implementing business intelligence and big data solutions to support mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL mappings to extract, transform, and load data between systems.
  • Conduct performance tuning of ETL processes to ensure efficient data processing.
  • Develop Business Intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Perform unit testing and validation of BI reports and data transformations.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL statements, stored procedures, scripts, triggers, and views.
  • Analyze data and implement aggregation, transformation, and visualization strategies.
  • Apply best practices in data warehousing, reporting platforms, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective BI dashboards and reports.
  • Support multiple phases of the Development Life Cycle (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment).
  • Develop and maintain system documentation to support the development lifecycle.
  • Recommend solutions and improvements to drive BI and data management best practices.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in software development, business intelligence, or data engineering.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, data analysis, data aggregation, and data visualization.
  • Strong experience in ETL processes and data transformation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (queries, stored procedures, triggers, views).
  • Solid foundation in data warehousing concepts and reporting platforms.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies and multiple BI environments is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work across full software development lifecycle phases.
  • Must hold an active Top Secret clearance.
