On-Site role

Job Description:

  • This position will function in a key support role as part of the Operations Data Analytics Department.
  • This position is responsible for the onboarding of new generation assets as well as updating assets across the existing fleet into our systems for current and future construction projects and acquisitions.
  • This includes solar, battery storage (BESS), gas (CC/CT) units, hydro modernization assets, and other large retrofit or environmental projects.
  • With the pending influx of new generation anticipated, this person will play a key role in participating on project teams when applicable, gathering equipment-related data, and ensuring that it is successfully added to our work management system, Maximo.
  • This person will be responsible for maintaining adherence to the D-11 Client Equipment Identification and Description Standard when adding equipment, vetting data for correctness with other subject matter experts, and working with plants to develop equipment hierarchies.
  • Additionally, they will work with plant representatives and project managers to identify and develop maintenance strategies to the system for the successful operation and maintenance of the plant, once commercial.
  • They may also provide field support to address individual plant questions & concerns and will also play a key role in like-unit comparisons, identifying and communicating best practices, applying lessons learned across the fleet, and ensuring consistency, to improve processes and drive down repeat failures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support new and existing generation project teams and plants in developing/updating equipment hierarchies, create/review preventative maintenance activities, create/review job plans, and related inventory data.
  • Provide guidance on the D-11 Client Equipment Identification and Description Standard, and act as a subject matter expert for correctly identifying the proper equipment systems and subsystems.
  • Promote data standardization and consistency.
  • Daily analysis of technical data.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related Technical Degree is preferred, however appropriate experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office application tools is required.
  • Experience with data management techniques to access, integrate, analyze and report data from multiple sources is desired.
  • Working experience with AI, Maximo, Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Reporting Services or similar programs is highly desired.
  • Experience in organizing and managing multiple projects at the same time. 
  • Proven ability to plan; ability to discern problems that need immediate attention versus those that allow more time to resolve.
  • Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve issues.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Widely recognized as a key contributor in their expertise area.
  • Must be able to visit generation sites and perform walk downs of generating equipment.
