About the RoleAs an SLPA in a school setting, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help students improve their communication skills and succeed in the classroom.
You'll be an essential part of the therapy team, supporting students across a variety of needs and age groups.

Qualifications:- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field
- Active Texas SLPA license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
- Provide direct therapy services to students
- Support students with articulation, language, and social communication goals
- Collect and record data on student performance and progress
- Assist with classroom collaboration and carryover of therapy strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
