Job description

Wedgewood Weddings is looking for a Wedding & Event Sign Designer to help bring our events to life through custom signage and visual details.

You’ll spend your time designing and producing event signage—from welcome signs and seating charts to bar menus and custom displays—then seeing it through from production to installation. Some days you’re in the studio working in Canva, prepping materials, and building out designs; other days you’re on-site installing signage and helping bring the full event setup together before guests arrive.

You’re both creative and hands-on. You care about how things look, but also how they get done. You’re comfortable managing multiple projects, working against deadlines, and adjusting quickly when details change.

You take pride in the behind-the-scenes work that makes events feel seamless. You stay organized, keep your workspace efficient, and execute with accuracy—because you know the smallest details are often the most visible to guests.

You enjoy being part of a team that builds something real from start to finish—and you like seeing your work come to life at every event.

What You’ll Do
  • Create custom event signage including seating charts, welcome signs, bar menus, place, cards, and more

  • Create designs in Canva that align with each client’s event style and vision

  • Proof signage for spelling, layout, formatting, and overall presentation

  • Produce signage using:

    • Cricut and vinyl application

    • Printing and mounting techniques

    • Acrylic, paper, and other event materials

  • Manage signage production timelines and prioritize multiple projects at once

  • Organize and maintain signage materials, tools, and inventory

  • Create showroom samples and mockups for the design studio

  • Assist with event load-ins, installations, and breakdowns

  • Install signage and support overall event setup onsite

  • Work closely with floral designers, venue teams, and other event staff

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong working knowledge of Canva

  • Experience with Cricut and vinyl production

  • Good eye for layout, typography, color, and visual composition

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work

  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Team-oriented mindset with a hands-on work ethic

  • Comfortable lifting up to 30–40 lbs and being on your feet throughout the day

  • Comfortable working both in-studio and onsite at events

  • Weekend availability required

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience in weddings, events, floral, or creative production

  • Knowledge of print production and finishing techniques

  • Experience working with acrylic, signage materials, or large-format installs
