Description

Hadco is hiring a Saw Machine Operator in our Bensalem, PA facility. You will be responsible for cutting bar stock of aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys in out Cut Extrusions department to meet customer specifications.


Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and engineering grade plastics. 


Hadco products include plate, sheet, and extensive offerings of long products for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets.

Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm



Role & Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual or CNC machines to accurately cut material for customer orders.
  • Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
  • Ability to work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances.
  • Operate and monitor machine operation for continued accuracy throughout cutting processes.
  • Continually measure work piece dimensions to assure constant specification accuracy throughout machine operation.
  • Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
  • Work directly with the production supervisor to ensure accuracy of customer requirements.
  • Prioritize workload to meet customer delivery requirements and company performance goals.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Math and measuring skills including fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.

Preferred:

  • Experience using calipers.
  • Strong attention to detail.
