JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for performing multiple tasks associated with manufacturing tube assemblies. Be able to read and work according to work orders, verbal instructions and the various requirements set forth by CPI and its Quality Management System.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Cut, de burr, brush material as assigned.
· Operate various pieces of machinery.
· Take care of material inventory for transactions in and out.
· Perform various parts finishing tasks.
· Meet goals and objectives in a timely manner.
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
· Follow procedures and use common sense to maintain a safe working environment.
· Arrive at work, meetings, appointments, and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
· Perform other tasks as assigned.
PERIPHERAL DUTIES
· Interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
The minimum qualifications and experience demonstrated and/or achieved which are qualifying for ( Saw/Machine Operator)
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, unique smells, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts and other dangers associated with manufacturing (cutting, deburring, etc.). CPI has safety equipment and safety standards in place to help maintain a safe work environment.
WORKING HOURS
Monday – Friday 07:00 AM -03:30 PM. Overtime may be required on an as needed basis.
EQUIPIMENT/MACHINERY USED
· Machine shop equipment: Mill, Lathe and Drill Press.
· Cutting: Chop saw, abrasive wheel saw and cold saw.
· Deburring: Belt sander and countersink.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lifting up to 50lbs regularly and 75lbs occasionally, pushing, pulling, standing for long periods of time, manual dexterity, and visual acuity.
