Job description

Overview
Join the vibrant and energetic team at Makers Union and provide exceptional service to our guests in a modern pub setting. As a Server, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our patrons. With our craveable food, destination drinks, and diverse menu, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your knowledge and passion for our offerings.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Present menus, make recommendations, and take orders accurately.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Provide attentive and personalized service to enhance the guest experience.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or special requests.
  • Handle payment transactions and maintain a tidy and organized work area.

Qualifications
  • Experience as a server in a fine dining experience.
  • A great attitude and work ethic.
  • Must be 21 or older to handle alcoholic beverages.
  • Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods during shifts
  • Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and twisting
  • Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and supplies weighing up to 25-35 pounds
  • Manual dexterity to handle glassware, plates, and service tools safely
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Tolerance for exposure to heat, noise, and crowded spaces
  • Ability to navigate dining areas quickly and safely
  • Strong balance and coordination while carrying food and beverages
