About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This role involves delivering perioperative nursing care for a variety of surgical procedures, with a focus on Orthopedic and Neuro cases, while collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for orthopedic, neuro, and other surgical procedures.

  • Perform circulating and scrub duties while maintaining sterile technique throughout surgical procedures.

  • Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment before each procedure.

  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to support optimal patient outcomes.

  • Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR while following perioperative standards and facility protocols.

Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.

  • Orthopedic and Neuro OR experience in a Level I or Level II trauma setting required.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
