Weekend Nurse Supervisor

Job Summary:

As a Weekend Nurse Supervisor at Spanish Trails Wellness & Rehabilitation in Albuquerque, NM, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nursing care to our patients. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong focus on patient care and team management to join our weekend team. About the Role:

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing nursing care within the scope of practice to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines. You will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual to ensure a safe and infection-free environment.
• Participate in implementing the Quality Improvement Program, utilizing data to drive improvement initiatives and enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize the Quality Life Manual to identify, place, and monitor patients in the appropriate programs, ensuring individualized care and support.
• Notify other departments of patient changes, such as room changes, leave of absence, new admissions, and discharges, to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of care.
• Conduct family and patient education to empower individuals and families to take an active role in their health and wellbeing.

Requirements:

• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Mexico
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred
