• Deliver high-quality counseling services to clients during their treatment with Polara Behavioral Health.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to help clients identify underlying issues, develop coping strategies, and promote healing.
• Implement treatment programs to address mental health concerns, trauma, and dual diagnoses while maintaining client confidentiality and safety.
• Utilize our HIPAA compliant telehealth platform to conduct remote sessions, ensuring a secure and supportive environment for clients.
• Manage case documentation and progress notes using our cloud-based EHR system to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and adapt treatment plans that align with client goals.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance counseling skills and stay updated on industry best practices.

Your role as an LPC at Polara Behavioral Health will involve working with a range of clients, each with unique needs and challenges. You will assist individuals dealing with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Your expertise will help clients navigate their mental health journeys, providing them with the tools and resources necessary for recovery.

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania is mandatory.
• At least three years of professional experience in mental health counseling, providing a well-rounded foundation of practice.
• Proficiency in remote counseling techniques and familiarity with telehealth tools is preferred.
• A reliable laptop or desktop computer, high-speed internet connection, and a web camera for virtual therapy sessions are necessary.
• Strong ability to work independently and maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for some weekends and evenings.
• A successful background check is a prerequisite for employment.

While not mandatory, additional experience in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, substance use recovery, or child and adolescent counseling would greatly enhance your candidacy. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and proficiency in using electronic health records systems will also be advantageous.
