Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team at Galaxy ABA Therapy, a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work closely with experienced professionals to deliver evidence-based, play-based ABA therapy in home, school, and community settings.
Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one with children, implementing skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging
Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation
Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members to ensure successful outcomes
Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment
Requirements:
High school diploma (required); Associate's or Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred)
Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete within the first six months of employment)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety
Ability to pass background checks (FBI, CPS, State of VA) and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided)
Prior ABA, childcare, or behavioral health experience is a plus, but training is provided for the right candidate
