WSRR Description

WSRR Radio is an independent radio station playing EXCLUSIVELY Local and independent music. We showcase local music on a national scale and can be heard anywhere with the help of the WSRR Radio app. In addition to local music, we also feature a variety of local radio shows and podcasts. We are not a business or corporation; we are a group of free content creators who are passionate about supporting local music and radio.


Role Description

This is a volunteer hybrid role for a Podcaster/Radio Host at WSRR RADIO. The role is based in Akron, OH, but some work from home is acceptable. The responsibilities include hosting and producing podcasts or radio shows, conducting interviews with guests, researching topics, and engaging with listeners, writing blogs and articles, all pertaining to LOCAL MUSIC. The Podcaster/Radio Host will also create content for social media and collaborate with other team members to develop show ideas and strategies.
