Position Summary

As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), you will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to safely administer medications and provide high-quality care to residents. Your role is essential in ensuring timely, accurate medication delivery and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications accurately and efficiently per physician orders

  • Complete medication passes within scheduled timeframes

  • Observe residents and report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse promptly

  • Maintain accurate documentation, including PRN charting and medication records

  • Monitor medication supplies and report reorders as needed

  • Assist with drug inventory and documentation compliance

  • Follow all facility policies, safety protocols, and state regulations

  • Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and training sessions


Qualifications
  • Current Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification – Missouri (Required)

  • Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license – Missouri (Required)

  • BLS/CPR Certification (Required)

  • Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation preferred

  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written English)

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Schedule
