In this role you will be responsible for being a key constributer to taking projects from conceptual stages through closeout. You will work as part of a team to provide the best design/build solutions on construction projects in the commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential markets. Client Details Our client is a growing General Contractor in Ohio. With a growing divison in their K-12 Education project team, they are looking for someone to come in with diviersified exerpience to help lead and grow this division. The company is offering extremely competitive compensation along with bonusesand promo path to a PM that comes with an incresed salary, bonus, and $875 a month vehicel allwoance. Description The Project Engineer will be required to lead or assit in: Providing project leadership and establish, implement and support a proactive project safety culture Manage the development and review of bid packages to procure competitive subcontract proposals Manage job-site subcontractor meetings to ensure that the project goals are met Review monthly invoices and oversees documentation and approval needed to ensure timely funding for the project Lead the management of cost reporting including but not limited to contracts, purchase orders, and scope revisions to achieve defined project goals Ensure overall financial health of the project and project forecasts Represent our client in the subcontract negotiations Profile The Project Engineer will need: 1+ years of commercial Construction experience. Prior experince working on K-12 Education projects. Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Construction Management degree or its equivilant in experince. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings. Excellent written and oral communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors and clients. Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and electrical.
