American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP certifications with night shift availability and every other weekend commitment.
Details- Work in a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) unit within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes active labor patients, antepartum patients as early as 27 weeks, PIH/magnesium patients, and preterm labor patients
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Every other weekend required
- No floating required
- Procedures performed include NST, continuous fetal monitoring, fetal scalp electrode placement, IV starts, amnioinfusion, epidural placement assistance, and attendance at C-sections (non-scrub role)
- EMR: Epic and GE Centricity
- Active AL RN license or compact RN license recognized in Alabama; candidates who have already applied for their AL license will also be considered
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Experience with Epic and GE Centricity preferred
- Must provide two professional references for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
