Plant Manager - Manufacturing 

Overview 

A local manufacturing operation is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead daily production and drive performance across safety, quality, and efficiency. This role oversees a team of 100+ employees and is critical to optimizing operations and supporting continued growth. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics 

  • Drive operational performance to meet production, cost, and quality targets 

  • Monitor and control expenses while improving efficiency 

  • Maintain and enhance facilities, equipment, and overall plant performance 

  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team 

  • Partner with Quality to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements 

  • Champion a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives 

  • Plan workforce needs and allocates resources to meet production goals 

  • Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks to maximize output 

Qualifications 

  • 9+ years of plant or operations management experience in manufacturing 

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and costs 

  • Proven leadership and team development skills 

  • Knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance, and safety systems
