Their duties include transporting patients to and from diagnostic departments, surgical suites, and their rooms, often using wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds. They also assist with patient comfort and ensure adherence to safety protocols during transfers. This role is essential for maintaining smooth hospital operations and supporting patient care outside of regular weekday hours.

Effective communication with nursing staff and prioritizing urgent transports are key to managing workload efficiently. Additionally, maintaining a calm, patient-centered approach helps in building trust with patients and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the transport process.
