Job Summary and Qualifications
We are currently recruiting for a Transporter to join our team! As our Transporter, you will be responsible for greeting and transporting patients to and from all major ancillary departments using proper safety techniques and mode of transportation. We are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!
What you will do in this role:

  • You will transport patients to and from clinical, ancillary and support areas as requested.
  • You will assist clinical personnel in transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • You will greet and assist customers throughout the hospital.
  • You will collect and deliver specimens, orders, requisitions and equipment to appropriate destinations.
What Qualifications you will need:
  • At least one year of related experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Current BLS through the American Heart Association is required
