Job description

NorthStar Memorial Group is hiring a Part-Time Clerical & Administrative Specialist II to support our Memorial Department. This role helps families through the memorial design process and ensures smooth coordination with vendors and cemetery teams.

Schedule
  • Monday–Friday (Occasional weekend)
  • 25–30 hours per week
Responsibilities
  • Communicate with families about memorial marker designs, proofs, revisions, and approvals
  • Coordinate with vendors on orders, proofs, revisions, deliveries, and invoices
  • Track memorials from start to finish and coordinate placement with the cemetery
  • Scan, file, and upload documents into internal systems
  • Provide multi-line phone support and break coverage
  • Process Pre-Need and At-Need funeral and cemetery contracts
  • Prepare simple reports or financial summaries
  • Assist families with past-due account questions
Qualifications
  • 2+ years administrative support experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and database systems
  • Strong communication and attention to detail

Compensation

  • $19-20/hr.
