Job description

The Austin office of Naman Howell has an immediate opening for a part-time Clerical Assistant to assist a well-established Texas law firm. A congenial environment and team atmosphere await the ideal candidate.


Duties, including but not limited to:

  • Scanning and saving documents electronically
  • Physical and digital filing
  • Organizing and maintaining documents
  • Opening new cases in the firmโ€™s internal system
  • Entering attorneyโ€™s time
  • Assisting with monthly billing cycle
  • Boxing and closing files upon completion
  • Maintaining confidentiality for all cases
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned


Position Requirements:

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Legal staff members are required to work in the office during standard business hours Monday through Friday. Working from home before or after business hours and/or on weekends may be required occasionally in order to successfully complete oneโ€™s work.

Staff members are exposed to typical office working conditions. Staff members should be able to stand, sit at an office space, speak and understand the English language, lift computer equipment, supplies and materials, and use office equipment and computers.
