Duties may include organizing products, labeling packages, sealing boxes, and ensuring items are packed securely. This role is common in warehouses, factories, and fulfillment centers. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently are important for success in this position.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the weekend packer position, and why are they important?

To excel as a Weekend Packer, you need strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and basic literacy and numeracy skills, often with a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, barcode scanners, and packaging equipment is usually beneficial. Reliability, time management, and teamwork are key soft skills that help you thrive in this position. These abilities ensure accurate order fulfillment, efficient workflow, and a positive work environment during busy weekend shifts.

Job description

The Catcher Packer is the final line of defense for our customers. This isn't just a packing role; it's a high-energy, precision-focused position where you ensure every carton leaving our facility is perfect. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment that requires a unique blend of mental focus and physical endurance.
This role is physically demanding in a way most jobs aren't. You will be using specialized muscle groups specifically in your hands, wrists, and forearms that aren't typically used in daily life.
  • We prioritize ergonomic safety and proper form to ensure you stay healthy while performing repetitive motions.
  • You will be lifting up to 30 lbs. repetitively throughout your shift (up to 40 lbs. occasionally).
  • You'll maintain a high "cadence" while catching and packing cartons without sacrificing quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspecting cartons in real-time to ensure they meet strict customer standards.
  • Packing cartons efficiently, setting up tapers/labelers, and operating ream cutters.
  • Managing offline packing and quality re-work projects as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following all PPE and ergonomic guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • High attention to detail and a "quality-first" attitude.
  • Basic computer literacy and strong communication skills to coordinate with your team.
    • Must be able to work 2nd (Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm) OR 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am) including some overtime and weekends to meet customer demand.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is great, but we are happy to train anyone who has the right work ethic and physical drive.

We don't just move boxes; we build the brands people see every day. We provide the training you need to master the equipment and the safety protocols to keep you strong and successful.

Excellence: We don't settle for "good" when it sacrifices "great." We chase both machine and personal excellence so that our competitors look at us and wish they were us.
Growth: We support both company growth and individual growth. Whether you want to be a "rockstar" who master's this role completely, or a "shooting star" looking to build skills for the next step up, we provide the feedback, training, and realistic timelines to help you get there.

In addition to a competitive wage, the selected candidate will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including:
  • Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, dental, and life insurance, 401(k) plans
  • Free employer clinics and physical therapy
  • Gym memberships and local discounts across the Greater Green Bay Area
