Packager

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Packager for a company in Ixonia, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 2nd shift.

$18.25/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3:00pm-11:00pm

Packager Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
  • Compare identifying information such as count, weight or description against line check sheets
  • Assemble shipping containers and insert items into containers using appropriate filler
  • Verify quality of packaging, including but not limited to labels, and seals; verify code dates
  • Assemble correct pallet configuration
  • Place bottles or containers on line; ensure they are properly sealed and sleeved before placing caps on bottles
  • Depending on line, packer may be responsible for completing certain information on the weight and pallet sheets (pallet contents, case labels, weights, fill heights, etc.)
Packager Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift (8-10 hours)
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout shift (8-10 hours)
  • Ability to bend, crouch, kneel throughout shift (8-10 hours)
  • Ability to do basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions
