Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program. Licensure:
Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Certifications:
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Physical requirements/demands:
Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Unit Information:
(5B) is a 32-bed unit. This unit consists of various GYN surgical procedures, bariatric weight loss surgical procedures, colon resections and other minor colon surgeries, and general medical patients.
Additional patients served include various GYN conditions, GYN/Oncology, Obstetrical Complications, Mother/Baby Couplets, post-partum Nurse to patient ratios is 1:5-6 and PCA to patient ratios 1:6-8.
1830 to 0700, which includes alternating weekends and holidays.
