About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 1, Bakery- Cup Operator to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 1, Bakery- Cup Operator you will support the packaging process by operating equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment that aligns with our manufacturing standards.

 

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: 2nd 
  • Hours: 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM
  • Weekend Availability: Required

 

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

  • Operate and adjust packaging equipment to maintain accurate and consistent product specifications
  • Ensure food products meet established quality, safety, and appearance standards
  • Package products manually or using automated machinery to meet production targets
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in alignment with GMP and safety requirements
  • Monitor equipment performance and communicate issues to production, maintenance, and quality teams
  • Support a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with coworkers
  • Follow assigned production schedules and running orders to meet shift goals

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and frequently changing production environment
  • Ability to function as a contributing member of a team
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (with or without assistance)
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, frozen, dusty, and loud environments
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience working in food manufacturing
  • Experience operating production or packaging equipment
