Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

  •  We are currently seeking a Punch Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Punch Operator should have a steady work history that shows commitment, quality, and reliability to their work. You will report promptly to your team leader for your daily duties and will work with your team to ensure that the production goals are reached

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set-up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment as needed to produce quality parts.
  • Use of calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure quality standards
  • Follow drawings or work orders as provided by a team leader.
  • Read/interpret blueprints and make minor adjustments as necessary
  • Must be able to maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area and comply with all safety rules and procedures.
  • Must work efficiently while keeping safety, quality and production standards in mind at all times.
  • To promote a team-oriented atmosphere at all times.
  • Any other task asked by the leadership team. 
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience operating Punch Operator 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measuring instruments. 
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance. 
  • Ability to lift, move, and position materials up to 50 lbs. 
  • Comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • This position may require standing for extended periods, repetitive motion, and lifting up to 50 lbs. 
  • Work is performed in a production environment where safety gear (gloves, eye protection, steel-toed footwear, etc.) is required. 
  • Flexibility to work overtime, shifts, or weekends as needed to support production demands.
