Bayside Health & Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor for our 60 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Virginia Beach.

We're looking for caring, warm-hearted Registered Nurses (RN's) who are seeking an opportunity to do meaningful work, an opportunity to put a personal touch on improving the lives of others. RN Weekend Supervisor Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Weekend shift - Supervisor oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence on the weekend shift.
  • The Weekend shift - Supervisor reviews staffing at the change of a shift and assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs.
  • Completes patient care rounds.
  • Coordinates admissions, transfers and /or discharges and ensures appropriate documentation.
  • Assists in orientation of weekend shift employees.
  • Supervises and evaluates day and evening shift employees.

Qualified candidates will be a licensed Registered Nurse and have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse as well as experience in acute setting. Supervisory experience a plus.
