Job description

  • Ensuring that patients arrive to Therapies on time
  • Assist with ADL's which include toileting, bathing, eating, etc.
  • Assess and record vitals, assist with transporting patients to and from Therapies, and other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for assisting the licensed nurses in the performance of delegated nursing procedures and functional rehabilitation tasks for which the assistant has been trained at either a basic or advanced level to meet rehabilitation patientโ€™s needs.
PRN Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of hospital experience
  • Weekend-Only PRN:ย Must work 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks (8-hour shifts, totaling 32 hours)
  • Weekend hours are defined as Friday 3:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
  • Holiday Requirement:ย Must work 2 holiday shifts per year, including at least 1 major holiday (Christmas, Thanksgiving, or New Yearโ€™s)
  • High school education or equivalent required
  • CNA, Nursing Assistant or Therapy Tech training and/or satisfactory previous experience required
  • Satisfactory completion of MRC rehabilitation orientation and advanced training programs for rehab tech/nursing assistant required once the employee has been hired
***Although this position does not require certification, it does require at least 1 year onย direct, hands-onย patient care.***
