Adult Residential Support Professional (Full-Time 3rd Shift)

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS)
L.E. Phillips - Chippewa Falls, WI

Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Adult Residential Support Professional to join our team at a new 50-bed residential treatment program for adult males, opening in Chippewa Falls in Spring/Summer 2026.

Schedule

  • 10pm-8am and every other weekend

About the Role

In this direct care role, you will support residents in recovery by providing supervision, encouragement, life-skills coaching, and a safe, structured environment. You'll work closely with residents to support treatment goals while responding appropriately to daily needs, challenges, and crisis situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support residents in a residential treatment setting
  • Serve as a positive role model and provide daily encouragement
  • Document observations and maintain accurate records
  • Support treatment plans and resident goals
  • Assist with medication monitoring/administration
  • Help with housekeeping, laundry, meals, and daily living activities
  • Transport residents to appointments and community activities
  • Facilitate educational and life-skills activities
  • Respond to emergencies and maintain a safe environment
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Experience in human services, behavioral health, substance use treatment, or residential care preferred
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
