A busy healthcare clinic is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to support front desk operations, patient registration, insurance verification, payment collection, and overall patient flow. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and provide a friendly, professional first impression
  • Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently
  • Provide registration forms and collect required patient documentation
  • Obtain and scan copies of insurance cards, identification, and other required documents
  • Register new patients and update existing patient records
  • Verify insurance information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collect patient payments, copays, balances, and other required fees
  • Process cash, check, and credit card payments
  • Assist with billing questions, payment issues, and basic account inquiries
  • Maintain patient flow and communicate wait times or updates as needed
  • Answer phones with a clear, professional, and courteous manner
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist patients with follow-up appointments and medical documentation requests
