Manufacturing Technician 2
Location: Mesa, AZ
Pay Rate: $33-$35/hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking Manufacturing Technicians to support assembly and manufacturing operations for advanced defense systems. This position will perform assembly, testing, rework, calibration, and quality inspection activities while supporting production schedules and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, aerospace, defense, automotive, or industrial production environments and possess the ability to read blueprints and follow detailed work instructions.
Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly operations on gun systems and related subassemblies.
  • Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components according to specifications.
  • Work independently and within team-based manufacturing environments.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Perform rework, troubleshooting, and quality inspections as required.
  • Assist engineers with setup, calibration, and testing activities.
  • Collect and record manufacturing data accurately.
  • Operate industrial equipment including cranes and forklifts when required.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools to verify component positioning and assembly quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in safety, quality, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support production schedules and meet manufacturing deadlines.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing assembly experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and operating procedures.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • High attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work a 4/10 schedule beginning at 5:00 AM.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain coverage under the Safe Explosives Act as an employee possessor/responsible person.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mechanical assembly background.
  • Aerospace, defense, automotive, or industrial manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with Costpoint, MES, or similar manufacturing systems.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Crane or forklift operation experience.
  • Quality inspection experience.
