Job Type: Part-Time Contractor (Weekend Shifts)
Job Location: Albuquerque & Rio Rancho Area (Rotating Seasonal Venues)
Job Summaryi9 Sports is looking for a high-energy Multi-Sport Instructor to lead our weekend programs. This isn't just about blowing a whistle; you are there to be a mentor and a role model. You'll be responsible for teaching the fundamentals of the game in a way that is fun, fair, and encouraging for our youngest athletes.
Regional DetailsOur programs rotate seasonally to use the best facilities in the area. This position covers the greater Albuquerque and Rio Rancho areas of play.
  • Assignment locations vary by season. Reliable transportation to all cities in this cluster is required.

Responsibilities
  • Youth Engagement: Use an inviting, high-energy mindset to keep 3-8 year olds focused and excited.
  • On-Field Instruction: Teach drills and fundamentals for Soccer, Flag Football, and Baseball (Basketball and Volleyball experience is a plus).
  • Game Day Logistics: Manage the setup and breakdown of equipment. (Note: Setup/cleanup blocks count as one game toward compensation).
  • Game Flow: Keep time, manage the score, and adjust your coaching style to fit the age group on the field.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a positive attitude with parents and coaches to ensure a great experience for every family.

Qualifications
  • Child-Centric Mindset: You must be patient, engaging, and genuinely enjoy working with younger children (ages 3-8).
  • Sports Background: At least 2 years of experience playing or coaching Soccer, Football, and Baseball.
  • Weekend Availability: Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday shifts consistently.
  • Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle for travel within the cluster.
  • Physicality: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active on the field for the duration of the games.
  • Background Check: Must pass a mandatory National Criminal Background Check.

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
