Job description

We are looking for a Weekend Intake Coordinator to support a busy healthcare intake function. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fully onsite environment on weekends. In this role, you will help manage incoming client information, maintain accurate records, and support smooth coordination across home health operations.
Responsibilities:
• Receive and process new client referrals and intake documentation with accuracy and urgency.
• Review applications and supporting records to confirm completeness and align information for next-step coordination.
• Communicate with internal teams, clients, and partner providers to gather missing details and keep cases moving forward.
• Maintain up-to-date information in intake and healthcare systems while protecting data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support weekend intake coverage by prioritizing requests, tracking status updates, and addressing time-sensitive needs.
• Coordinate with home health teams to help ensure services are set up efficiently and according to operational requirements.• Experience supporting client intake, admissions, or referral coordination in a healthcare setting.
• Working knowledge of client application workflows and healthcare operational processes.
• Familiarity with home health agencies, healthcare documentation, and information systems.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite in Norwell, Massachusetts on a weekend schedule.
