Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for ensuring production and facility equipment isworking at all times. He/she will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintainall equipment. He/she will follow preventive maintenance schedules along withexisting protocol including building maintenance.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:
Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and followssafety regulations
General knowledge required in mechanics (gears, bearings, pulleys, belts,etc.), pneumatics and electric drives.
Effectively perform various duties to install and maintainproduction machines and the plant facility's equipment.
Maintain inventory of repair parts and supplies.
Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenanceservice.
Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment duringproduction and conducts scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipmentduring machine service.
Performs mechanic skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical,and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform requiredmaintenance and service.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues, replace,or repair parts, test, and make necessary adjustments.
Will use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and materialhandling equipment in performing duties.
Ability to comply with all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderlywork area.
Must possess the ability to learn and comply with all company policies andprocedures including safety guidelines and practices.
All other tasks as assigned.

On-Site: This role is required to be on-site 03 days at the Ottawa KS location.
