The Lutheran Home is hiring dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs). Our healthcare community includes rehab-to-home, memory care, a dedicated hospice unit, and long-term care, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful connections while providing exceptional care in every stage of the aging journey. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, ensuring accurate documentation
  • Monitor resident condition, report changes, and adjust care plans as needed
  • Supervise and support nurse aides, providing assignments, guidance, ensuring quality and consistency of care
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and manage resident care
  • Educate residents and their families about rehabilitation goals, care plans, and discharge instructions
  • Ensure resident safety, rights, confidentiality, and adherence to infection control and regulatory standards
  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions
  • Participate in ongoing staff education and training
  • Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure high standards of care and safety
  • Promote a positive team culture, fostering respect and open communication

In this full-time role, you’ll follow a consistent two-week schedule, working 7 out of 14 days with a three-day weekend every other week.
Available shifts include:
  • Day Shift (12-hour): 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
  • Night Shift (12-hour):  6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted RN license in the State of Missouri (or eligibility for licensure)
  • CPR certification
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
