NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Manager, Live Events.
This role serves as the primary leader for Event Experience initiatives, overseeing a cross-functional team responsible for fan programming, event activations, fan zones, event production, and race weekend logistics.
The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and is passionate about delivering innovative, fan-focused experiences.
What You'll Do
  • Direct the cross-functional team in the ideation, planning and execution of the programming strategy for all added-value and revenue-based fan programming and content efforts at their team's events including but not limited to fan zones, infield experiences, camping activations and event production;
  • Oversee pre-race ceremonies, driver introductions, post-race celebrations, and other marquee event moments, ensuring alignment with event objectives and brand standards, including effectively communicate the vision of each respective track president & teammates to the Central Creative team
  • Collaborate with Central Creative team to brainstorm unique, innovative content & programming for each event to identify goosebump moments when requested;
  • Communicate effectively with key industry stakeholders such as production, broadcast partners, media members and teams;
  • Secure and manage all anthem package participants including their race day schedule and connection to production team.
  • Coordinate with the Event Ops division team member as well as track security & operations teams to execute Driver Intro lap, set-up of Pre-Race and Victory Lane access as well as logistics for all fan events such as but not limited to autograph sessions, Hauler Parades, Pedal Parties & camper concerts.
  • Lead the Curated Experiences division member in the planning and execution of at-track fan events, camper programming and infield experiences.
  • Work with NASCAR Productions to create a unique and interesting content schedule for the in-house big screens and maintain a strong working relationship with the NASCAR TV team.
  • Lead and support the Fan Zone division team member in the planning, development, and execution of fan zone programming, activations, and interactive experiences that enhance race weekend engagement.
  • Manage event budgets, staffing plans, race weekend deployment schedules, and operational planning to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with track leadership and key stakeholders through regular planning, meetings, communication, and post-event reviews.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and embrace new, unique activations and strategies to provide memorable, fan-focused event content for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Minimum 3-5 years sports & event experience required
